Follentez and Dargent publishing has decided to honour the 107th edition of the Tour de France with producing a compilation full original titles from different artists. Grand Royal Tokyo is proud to be part of it. We are in ze peloton with an exclusive title especially made for this occasion called "Dring, Dring".
"Nous sommes partis d’une petite rythmique de guitare qui nous a tout de suite rappelé au thème des “Triplettes de Belleville” de Mathieu Chédid. Nous voulions nous en écarter pour ce faire nous avons chercher une autre route, nous avons changé de braquet sans succès. Puis je me suis souvenu de Maurice Garin (1er vainqueur du tour de France) qui fut rétrogradé lors de la 2ème édition pour acte de tricherie (il aurait pris le train durant une étape et fut reconnu). Je trouvais l’anecdote tellement drôle que nous avons foncé, en s'Inspirant du thème du coureur voulant gagner “à tout prix” ou les abus de l'esprit de compétition." GRT
この度GRAND ROYAL TOKYOはありがたいことに、フランスのトゥール ドゥ フランスのために作られたL'ÉCHAPÉE BELLE" というアルバムになんと参加しています。 フランスのFollentez and Dargent という音楽事務所は創立107周年を記念して同じテーマで様々なジャンルもスタイルも違う世界中のアーティストの作品をトゥール ドゥ フランスをテーマにプロデュースすることになりました。その大きなプロジェクトに今回Grand Royal Tokyo が参加することに至ったことは私たちにとっても大きいことです。このアルバムのトラック3に入ってる私たちの曲はもちろんこのトゥール ドゥ フランスのために作り上げたオリジナル作品で、サイクリストの物語にした"Dring, Dring". 日本語にすると、自転車の鈴を鳴らすリンリン！という音をタイトルにしました。 このコンピレーションは下記のリンクにて、試聴することもダウンロードすることもできます。是非聴いてみてくださいね。
